The brief
The New Swindon Company was formed in 2002 to stimulate investment and co-ordinate plans for revitalisation of the town centre. Our brief has been to change the perception of Swindon, through repositioning and highlighting of key opportunities across a number of campaigns.
The approach
Swindon has key features to offer businesses; but they are often lost against a tide of prejudices. Our initial campaign was based on challenging people's perceptions, and over time we have focused the campaigns on the benefits for businesses.
The results
The New Swindon Company has won a number of successes through our campaigns, raising the profile of the Swindon regeneration and gaining the backing of businesses across a number of industries.
