		<description>I think one thing that&#039;s important to add is that emarketing is just like every other form of marketing - it has to have purpose, its no good to have the scatter gun approach. It has to be targetted. The biggest change with online media and social media that perhaps wasn&#039;t there previously is that for once the target-customer has a direct link to the supplier and can find out exactly what everyone else thinks as well. It&#039;s made the whole thing transparent.

With this is mind you have to make sure that marketing isn&#039;t a bolt-on to your business but is planned and aligned with your core business objectives. It&#039;s integral - those companies that have that ethos at their heart are the ones thriving in an online world.</description>
